Dr. Daniel P. Greenwald, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Greenwald has been practicing Cosmetic Surgery and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in Tampa since 1993. He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and received his MD degree from Yale.
After training in General Surgery in New York, Dr. Greenwald was chosen to receive the first-ever research Scholarship Award from the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation. He then completed formal training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Chicago. From there he went to the Massachusetts General Hospital for further training in Hand and Microvascular Reconstruction. He held a faculty position at the Harvard School of Medicine where he taught Plastic, Hand, and Microvascular Surgery.
Dr. Greenwald is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, including Cosmetic Surgery of the face, head and neck, trunk, and extremities. He holds a certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He has held appointments at the National Institutes of Health and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He is a member of many scientific and medical societies and has published more than 30 peer-review journal articles. He has lectured around the world on topics relating to Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Greenwald lives in South Tampa with this wife and two children.
