Dr. Richard Anderson graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in 1966 has since acquired more than more than 25 years of experience in providing quality surgical care to a wide variety of patients. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Anderson completed a four year Oto/Head & Neck Surgery Residency at the Mayo Graduate School and a two year Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. A nationally and internationally renowned teacher and presenter, he is also is a frequent contributor to distinguished plastic surgery journals and textbooks.
Dr. Anderson has earned extensive medical credentials, and is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Otolaryngology, and the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is a member of several prestigious professional affiliations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Anderson has received numerous accolades for his surgical skill and dedication, including being awarded the Certificate of Advance Education in Cosmetic Surgery by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He was also selected as "The Expert on Cosmetic Surgery" by KPHO TV 5 in Phoenix-Scottsdale and listed in "The Best Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons," a book published by Media Perspectives. Dr. Anderson is an active supporter of the community, volunteering his plastic surgery services to both the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence Program and a Phoenix tattoo removal program serving local gang members.
