Wyoming is a state in the western U.S. bordered by Colorado, Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota. The majority of the state is dominated by the mountain ranges of the Rocky Mountains. The Continental Divide spans north-south across the central portion of the state. While the 10th largest U.S. state by size, Wyoming is the least populous. The capital and the most populous city of Wyoming is Cheyenne. Casper and Cheyenne are the two metro areas in the state with seven micropolitan areas. 30% of Wyomingites live in one of the metropolitan areas, and 73% live in either a metro or micropolitan area.
