A graduate of Amherst College and Yale University, Dr. Terino brings a unique combination of art and surgical technique to his practice.
Dr. Terino worked voluntarily at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital, in Haiti, and also throughout Central and South America, helping impoverished people by performing free surgeries on deformed and maimed children.
From his surgical clinics in Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Thousand Oaks, Dr. Terino has served both the reconstructive as well as the aesthetic needs of a large area of Southern California, from Santa Barbara to Palm Springs and Lancaster to San Diego. Although many of Dr. Terino's patients are from Ventura County and the Conejo Valley, and even greater number of people seek his work from Beverly Hills and other states and countries.
Dr. Terino is not only world renowned for his accomplishments as a plastic surgery practitioner, but also as an innovator in the specialized new techniques of three-dimensional facial contouring. He is one of the few pioneers to develop the latest upper and midface vertical lifting and suspension technology, which he calls Somme Lift. He also is the designer of natural looking cheek and chin implants which provide solutions for flat cheeks, small jaw lines, and weak facial contours. Dr. Terino's approach to each patient is caring and individualized and combines a highly refined eye for aesthetic detail.
Dr. Terino is a certified Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. While in private practice, he has served on the teaching staffs of several universities including UCLA, USC, and Stanford.
Dr. Terino was recently honored with a "Traveling Professor" award from the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Surgery.
